  Training Classes

WISP classes are set up as needed. There are none scheduled at this time. Classes in Madison are normally held in the training lab at the Department of Commerce; training can also be held in your community. If you would like training or other one-on-one assistance, please send a note to WISPhelp@wisconsin.gov.

Below is the link for the 2009 calendar for Wednesday mini-training sessions at 10am; they are scheduled three times a month.  Each training session has a topic the trainer will focus on and attendees can feel free to bring other issues to the session.  The sessions are held over the phone and computer using go-to-meeting software and should last about 30 minutes.  The day before the training you will receive a reminder e-mailed and the following day you will receive directions on how to log in and call in to the meeting.  To sign up for June or July Trainings please click on the following link:

  Regions

In order to facilitate regional use of statistics from WISP, the Steering Committee assisted the WISP staff in dividing the state into reporting regions. The 3 counties that are separate Continua of Care(CoC) were maintained, and the remaining 69 counties that are part of the Balance of State CoC were divided into regions at the county level (with the exception of Winnebago which was split into north and south). Many of the WISP standard reports can now be created using these regional summaries.
