Jim Doyle today announced that 11 small businesses will share $55,000 in Wisconsin Trade Project (WTP) Program grants to market their products at international trade shows. The following companies have each earned WTP grants for $5,000:
The Wisconsin Trade Project Program provides individual grants up to $5,000 to reimburse small Wisconsin companies for expenses incurred while attending an international trade show, such as booth rental, product literature translations, or displays. High-tech companies can also receive a grant to attend a trade show held in the U.S. that has international attendees. The program does not pay for travel, lodging, or related costs. Wisconsin companies with annual sales under $25 million are eligible for the program. For more information, contact Stanley Pfrang, Commerce, at 608/267-0639. -30- |
