Commerce Secretary Jack L. Fischer and Young Entrepreneurs on "For the Record" this Sunday
For Immediate Release: February 28, 2008 Madison - Entrepreneurship is the topic of this week's "For the Record" Sunday, March 2 at 10:00 a.m. on WISC-TV Channel 3, Madison. Department of Commerce Secretary Jack L. Fischer will discuss entrepreneurship and its importance to the state's economy in observance of the National Entrepreneurship Week, from February 24 - March 1. "I encourage everyone to tune into the airing of this program," said Secretary Jack L. Fischer, AIA. "It's an exciting opportunity for these young people who have really shown a dedication and desire to succeed in the business world." The show will also feature Rishi Shah, a UW-Wisconsin graduate named by Business Week as one of America's Best Young Entrepreneurs for his e-commerce business, Flying Cart. Andrew Napier of UW-Madison and Zach Vruwink of UW-Stevens Point will also appear on the show and discuss the businesses that they operate while attending college. -30- |
