Project to create 15 jobs

MADISON - Governor Jim Doyle today announced that D&S Manufacturing, Inc., Black River Falls, Jackson County, will receive $250,000 in Technology Zone tax credits. The project is expected to create 15 new positions.

"To grow Wisconsin, we must continue to invest in our economy and foster technology growth," Governor Doyle said. "D&S Manufacturing, Inc. is one example of how these investments can help companies expand facilities and purchase new equipment, which will help them continue to grow and prosper."

D&S Manufacturing, Inc., founded in 1965, is a provider of contract manufacturing services. The company manufactures large-scale, weight-bearing components from carbon steel plate, aluminum and stainless steel materials. The company plans to use the funds to expand and equip its facility in Black River Falls. Total cost of the project is $8.3 million.
