Education - Elevator Inspector 

Classes are approved and then submitted by providers online to the Safety and Buildings Division.  To list an approved class.  People taking the courses should check to be sure the course is currently approved and valid for their credential.

*** Elevator Inspector: 12 Credit Hours; 2009 Elevator Construction Symposium; Latest developments in design and technology - Nationally recognized speakers;  Wednesday and Thursday, October 14 & 15, 2009; Grand Geneva Resort, Lake Geneva, WI; Topics include:  Platform Lifts, Performance Based Code A17.7, 2007 A17.1 Test Requirements, Safety Integrity Levels, Fire Alarm Systems, International Building Code, Electrical, and Code Updates; Presented by: David McColl, Vincent P. *** Elevator Inspector 4 credit hours; First Aid; Provides training in how to handle emergencies in controlling bleeding, splinting, sudden illnesses like stroke, seizures, diabetes, fainting, poisonings, allergic reactions, heat and cold related illnesses; Sheboygan County American Red Cross, 920-457-7739, www.redcrosssheboygan.org; S&B course 8288 approval expiration date is 12/08/2011.
